Norwegian Saab 9-3SS with Nordic Performance

In Norway, it now rolls a 9-3SS with a lot of Nordic Performance.

Engine specification is forged JE pistons, 630cc injectors, big intercooler and a 18t turbo. Breathe with a Ferrita exhaust.

To let the power all the way down to the street sits a Quife limited slip differential and a 4-puck Sachs clutch.

Chassis-wise, the car received an H & R kit with dampers and springs to match the effect 325hk/450Nm on Ethanol E85.

The program is having biopower function to handle both gasoline and ethanol.

This resulted in one place a Nordic Concept Extreme "Hall Of Fame", the gathering place for cars with a little extra under the hood.

Nordic Performance SAAB 9-3GT-RSS 9.6s at PPF Powermeet

At Power Meet in Orsa today Robert Uhr made a 9.6s/247.52 km/h with the racer.

Heavy tire vibrations and throttle cut off before the finish line. Exhaust temperature of below 700C. This smell a low 9 second run with more adjustments and training.

Later at the day Robert made 9.66s/250.5 kmh.

Nordic Performance SAAB 9-3GT-RSS 9.96s at Action Meet

Finally. Today Robert Uhr made a 9.96s/239 km/h run with the racer at Action Meet, Mantorp. This with orginal Saab Trionic T5.5 ECU.

With traction bars and the chassi under full control the times will be even faster.

Saab 9-5 Hirsch with Performance by Nordic

We have had a Hirsch in Söderköping. The car now rolls with real Nordic Performance and a GT30R turbo, fuel is E85 with 630cc injectors.

At last diff bushing to the left output drive shaft.

Saab has gone noticed 108733230, bushing differential for about eight months. We have a replacement that becomes yours for 220 SEK including VAT. Available for immediate delivery.

Now, at last, we started with a branch in Östergötland. Nordic Performance in Söderköping where also Bil-Trim houses.

A complete Saab workshop with full set of tools to manage all existing jobs from the 2-stroke to the current 9-3 and 9-5.

Mr Bil-Trim Sven-Erik Johansson is an old fox in Saab circuits. Began with Saab in 1968 and has been a mechanic for Stig Blomqvist at -70 century.

Finally the first run at a strip is done. The car show us som nice results and performance even with some start up and setting problems. We saw that the chassi is very good for future records.

60feet: 1.67 sec
201m: 6.88sec@177kmh
402m: 10.43sec@221kmh.

Without the timing problem in the last run we we had almost certainly seen a 9.xx sec run because of the top speed of 226.3kmh at 401m and 194.5kmh at 201m.

Murphy float up at the painter. With a new paint shop the car is now black with a nice finish. Lots of credits to O. S. Lackeringar AB who make it in a short time beetween normal day to day business.

Nordic Quarter Mile Crews Opel Corsa results 2008

Sometimes wine sometimes water, but mostly rain. Just rain was the sign for the dragracing summer in Sweden 2008.

This winter gonna be a update time and adjustments of the pieces. For the 2009 we will be back with a stronger Corsa and a Saab 9-3 GT-RSS rocket.

Nordic Quarter Mile Crews Opel Corsa 200 km/h+ !

Saturday show us a perfect dragracing weather. The place was Piteå dragstrip. Nordic prepared with Kalle Uhr as pilot.

Some runs an the 200+ was fixed. Best run for the dayl 402m @ 11.22 sec/203 km/h.

A small update from 25:th of February. Indoor it's much better to be. In the dyno we made some small adjustments. 460hp/457ft-lbs with a Viggen engine , Garrett T28-71 turbo, 750cc injectors and Ethanol E85 fuel. "Dynorun 460hp/457ft-lbs".

Nordic proudly present the worlds strongest Saab with Trionic 7 engine management system.

With the street program and only 1.6 bar (23,2psi) we got the power of 510hp and 600Nm of torque in the engine. With a special program 550hp!!

No Saab with Trionic 7 ever delivered more power tested in a Rototest facility.

Back from the exhibition

A lot of interest about the 9-3 Viggen Extreme we had in our booth.

Many questions about Ethanoltuning and "Nordic Extreme performance with warranty".

Roberts racer was a real showstopper. The Saab 9-3 GT-RSS NORDIC looks like killer for the dragstrip.

A chassi in chrome-molly tubes and a 9-3SS body of glassfiber will give fast fwd times and a lot of show in the future.

Tuning for Saab 9-5 2.3t Biopower 2007

The complete stage 1,2 and 3 tuning for 9-5 2,3t Biopower will be near to roll out.

The power for stage 1 will be 235hk and 350Nm.

A stage 2 was tested. The power was around 250-260 hk. The Performance during roadtests says "equal to Aero performance"

Quarter mile testing with Racelogic GPS

We have now after many requests aquired a new measurement equipment.
We will now put together a list of tuned cars on our site.
We measure the cars with a GPS measurement equipment from Racelogic.
It is of extremely high quality and the difference is almost none compared to a normal quarter mile racetrack.
It can also measure normal acceleration.

Back after the exhibition

We are now back after the Stockholm Car Show. The exhibition was very good. Sadly there were almost noone else in the tuning business except nordictuning and BSR.
We will now try to take care off all our new customers

Finally, the Stockholm Car Show is commencing.
It started up with the VIP day and the official opening is today.
We are so far very pleased with the exhibition and it can only get better and better now.

We are at the moment doing a special tuning on a 9-3 2.0t 1998 in the Rototest.
Our technicians is pushing out over 470Hp and 610Nm (2450ft-lbs) of torque out an almost standard 2.0t.
There is only one word, amazing!!

We will lower it later because it's impossibly to drive a FWD car on the road with 510Hp

Project Nordic 9-3 Viggen 550Hp

The construction of project 9-3 Viggen 550hp is in quick progress.
Downpipe and manifold is almost done.




The goal is to build the most powerful 9-3 Viggen T7.

Nordic on a big car exhibition in Stockholm/Sweden.

We can summarize the first day (Friday) at the exhibition as a good start of the weekend.
It has been a good flow of pepole wanting more power in their cars and to talk Tuning with the Nordic staff.

Saturday looks to be another good day too..

Now things are starting to happen regarding the construction of the Saab 9-3GT-RSS The body is almost done at JPC in Avesta Sweden.
